the wit and wisdom of Jerry Seinfeld

I was working on some freelance work tonight and I had Seinfeld on in the background. It was the fat wallet episode. I happened to glance over at just the right time and hear Jerry say something that I want to say to EVERY WOMAN ON MATCH.COM WHO TALKS ABOUT HOW MUCH SHE LOVES TO DANCE…

The scene begins with Jerry meeting his current girlfriend, Keri, on the street to go somewhere together….

Jerry: All set. I can’t believe I’m going dancing.

Keri: You don’t go that often?

Jerry: No, because it’s so stupid. Shall we?

I’m sure a comment like that would get nixed on today’s sitcoms. Jerry and Larry (David) slid a LOT of important social commentary into that show. A sad world when reruns from ten years ago show more balls than current entertainment options.

Yes, dancing, as we know it as adults (not counting “serious” dancing like ballroom, salsa, etc.) is STUPID. Yes, girls, it is STUPID and no man actually enjoys it. Men only “go dancing” or “clubbing” as my generation prefers to call it to check out the narcissistic women that go there for attention (c’mon girls – if there were no men in those clubs pawing at you you would never go – admit it…).
