They had some okay stuff, but nothing outstanding. Once again it was filled with mostly crap (like <a href=\"http:\/\/mollyschiot.com\/drawing.html\" target=\"_blank\">Molly Schiot<\/a> pieces) including this leftover piece of trash from <a href=\"http:\/\/web.mac.com\/sherileerobinson\/Site\/Home.html\" target=\"_blank\">S. Lee Robinson&#8217;s<\/a> studio:<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: auto;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/lh\/photo\/i6tYk9mBkLZqC1TaQWD6-A?feat=embedwebsite\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh6.ggpht.com\/_ft-qCjvrMks\/Sg2iM7rNLOI\/AAAAAAAAAEs\/xeViHs2oRpo\/s800\/S_Lee_Robinson_dragon.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Next up was the gallery across the street, which was full of small mediocre pieces. The centerpiece was a &#8220;poetry slam\/reading&#8221; going on in the front. The mic was turned down kind of low (thank goodness).<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: auto;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/lh\/photo\/uz_LdXFvTkYggnzSabrTAg?feat=embedwebsite\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh4.ggpht.com\/_ft-qCjvrMks\/Sg2iNJiC1vI\/AAAAAAAAAEw\/39xsVBosJ_k\/s800\/badpoetry.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>Yes, teenage white girl from LA with a red braid in your hair, rap to us about your terrible life on the streets growing up in Sherman Oaks&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Across the street and upstairs (those of you familiar with the Art Walk know what I mean) we found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelpukac.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Pukac<\/a> doing some in-gallery paintings and selling them for $80. Here is one of his finished pieces (going for considerably more):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelpukac.com\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"Michael Pukac\" src=\"http:\/\/www.michaelpukac.com\/SAVE%20pics%20here\/sole%20full%20paintings\/europasescape2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"682\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We walked down 4th street to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lostsouls.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lost Souls Cafe<\/a>.\u00a0 This is the cafe that is hidden down that little alleyway next to Rocket Pizza.\u00a0 In the alley this time was a 3-piece band that was not quite steampunk.\u00a0 There was a steampunk\/cosplay girl blowing bubbles puttering around them.<\/p>\n<table style=\"width: auto;\" border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/lh\/photo\/eb_-zXhaH_-J2ArH_P--fg?feat=embedwebsite\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lh5.ggpht.com\/_ft-qCjvrMks\/Sg2iNXVevQI\/AAAAAAAAAE0\/FqETpkh-yLQ\/s800\/lostsoulsband.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>We went back down main, going down 5th (?) first to find a nude woman getting painted and pushed against a wall. In art walks last year we watched this space go from a loose conglomeration of art on the walls and performers on stage &#8211; to &#8220;professional&#8221; crafts booths along the walls, a good band on stage and a bar at the back. When we went in this time we discovered that it would now cost $5 to get into the bar. We turned around and headed outside.
