I\u2019m glad I found this guy, but it also makes me very very angry. I went to art school for almost five years, and was told many times (given names) to look up certain artists that \u201c(you) might like.\u201d Artists like Lucian Freud, Hopper, Shirin Neshat\u2026. All well and good, except none of them resemble what I am\/was trying to do that closely. This Beksinski guy is almost an exact match. This guy takes the best of Salvador Dali and Giger and blows them both away. There is no way in hell Cam De Leon and Gerald Scarf were not inspired by this man\u2026 as well as anyone else that has delved into the \u201cdark art\u201d genre post 1975. So anyway, yeah, five years and none of these art \u201cprofessionals\u201d could tell me about this guy\u2026.did I learn anything at all in college? Oh yeah, I got a business minor so I guess so. I would feel like I\u2019m behind, but then I found a biography for Beksinski written in English and discovered that he didn\u2019t start painting until he was about 35 years old\u2026so I\u2019m still ahead I guess.
