{"id":1587,"date":"2010-01-01T08:48:04","date_gmt":"2010-01-01T16:48:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.andrewlorenzlong.com\/?p=1587"},"modified":"2010-01-01T08:48:04","modified_gmt":"2010-01-01T16:48:04","slug":"new-things-for-an-old-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.andrewlorenzlong.com\/?p=1587","title":{"rendered":"New things for an old year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On new year&#8217;s eve Sam invited me to go with her to dinner and join her friends and friends of theirs. \u00a0There were eleven of us eating at the Dragon Restaurant in Koreatown. \u00a0Dragon brands itself as &#8220;Chinese Restaurant,&#8221; but it is known for its fusion of Korean and Chinese cuisine. \u00a0They have eight different banquet deals to pick from for large parties (ten or more). \u00a0Much like Korean karaoke, our party was given its own private room with a TV that I&#8217;ll assume is used for karaoke, but we never turned on, with a giant round table and massive lazy\u00a0Susan.<\/p>\n<p>I think there were \u00a0ten different pieces to the banquet. \u00a0I don&#8217;t remember all of them, but a few things were offered that I&#8217;d never tried before.
