I went to bed at 9 last night and slept for ten hours, it was great. <\/p>\n
I made the decision to pack my lunch at work from now on. It will be a little more difficult…but it’ll save me money, and hopefully I won’t get sick every two weeks anymore. Aaron is cutting his Yummy driving down to two days a week so we can go workout all the time too, so I should get more exercise.<\/p>\n
Anyway, I finished up two things this morning that hve been in the works for awhile. They are both new entries in the portfolio section.<\/p>\n
The first site is something I’ve been toying around with in my head for awhile, but it is time to do it. I’m going to advertise and see if I can actually get customers. The work that I can’t handle on my own I’ll farm out to hungry high school\/college kids on craigs list.<\/p>\n
Iyves’ site is just something I did for fun that I thought Amy would enjoy.<\/p>\n
Speaking of Amy, we went to IHOP for breakfast yesterday. I had heard great things about IHOP, so I was expecting a good breakfast. It wasn’t. My pancakes tasted like McDonald’s pancakes, and they don’t offer the variety of “compote” fruit toppings that Dennys does. To make things even worse, they messed up Amy’s order TWICE. I had to eventually go and tell the chef myself to make her eggs “over hard.” When the check came we asked to have her item taken off because they had to make it three times. The waiter said “well, I don’t know because you ate it. But I’ll get the manager.” We got the manager and she took Amy’s meal off the bill….but that was a nasty experience… Very different than how Amy runs the City Grill. I think if a waiter said that to anyone at the Wilshire they would be fired. <\/p>\n
Later we went to Barnes and Noble for a few hours. I read some art books about the best of fantasy\/sci fi illustration in 2004. I really need to get back to basics and start drawing again. Eventually I’ll start painting again as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
