So I know y’all in Ohio were watching ESPN tonight. Maybe you were in the bathroom\/kitchen\/etc. when the commercials came on.. .I wasn’t. Remember the Ohio State commercial “I didn’t dot the ‘i’, I didn’t make the extra point, etc.?” Remember the guy in the record shop? Slightly hispanic looking…beard…said something about how he is involved in robotics…. ring a bell?<\/p>\n

Well, when I was having critiques for my thesis last year he was one of the grad students in there every time. His work actually inspired my “can robots love robots?” glass paintings. <\/p>\n

How ironic… I moved to California to see people on TV walking around in real life…but I end up seeing someone I knew in real life in Ohio…on TV in California.<\/p>\n
