I posted Saturday that I was making a new version of this site. Well, after showing two of my splash page ideas to Amy I realized that they sort of suck. They were both “too scary” for her, which I initially replied with “well people like YOU don’t go to it anyway.” I then realized that while true – the main focus for traffic on the site won’t be people like Amy – that doesn’t mean the focus should be alienation. So, I decided to scrap the visual for the splash pages and start over. Besides…I couldn’t decide how to make them work within the negative space anyway.<\/p>\n

From the menu area on the rest of the website you can see what I was going for with the original “failure” splash page.<\/p>\n Comments are welcome<\/p>\n oh yeah – why am I up so late?
