{"id":2603,"date":"2013-11-15T11:02:32","date_gmt":"2013-11-15T19:02:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.andrewlorenzlong.com\/?p=2603"},"modified":"2013-11-24T11:20:13","modified_gmt":"2013-11-24T19:20:13","slug":"ohio-trip-day-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.andrewlorenzlong.com\/?p=2603","title":{"rendered":"Ohio Trip day 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">As usual, more and higher res shots of this trip can be found\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/andrewlong\/sets\/72157638009880756\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After the first day of my content marketing seminar I headed downtown to see the new bridge and path construction by the river.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3749\/11021128146_8ce8bdc913.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">They did a great job on the place, looking much better than what I remember. \u00a0However, there wasn&#8217;t\u2019t a single soul on the west side of the river the entire time I was there, and on the East I only saw one family.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7420\/11021278553_d8871b27e1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5550\/11021115845_cb99867f48.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0Walking up further to high street I encountered 10TV\u2019s attempt to transform the intersection into a mini Times Square, which seemed weird.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2836\/11021076605_8e17c27d81.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0There were now LED displays constantly blanketing the state capitol building in blue and red and green light at random intervals.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.staticflickr.com\/2852\/11021165256_2a97f4901a.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a0It was quite unnecessary since there were very few people down there after 5pm, and they were focused on getting on or off the bus.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5496\/11021294393_56c88fbc1e.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As usual, more and higher res shots of this trip can be found\u00a0here.
