When my mother came for a visit in March one of Sam’s friends was in Los Angeles for work. \u00a0Strangely the next time my mother came, this time with my father, Sam’s friend arrived as well.<\/p>\n
Sam’s friend is a producer of soap operas in Thailand, and she had come with her crew for a series of location shots in California. \u00a0On the Saturday that my parents were scheduled to arrive Sam had volunteered to be a crew driver, so we attempted to combine these two things. \u00a0I stayed “on set” after dropping Sam off “on location” in the morning. \u00a0Then I took her away from the set in the afternoon so we could pickup my parents and take them to lunch. \u00a0After lunch we drove her back to the set (which was nearby) before we went over to Elysian Park and then Scoops.<\/p>\n
Coming from Ohio, it had been a long day for them by early evening, so they retired and then I went to pick up Sam from the set. \u00a0As it turned out she got to be a stand-in for the lead actress (from the back), so she’ll be on Thai TV in a few months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
