My father posted a comment to my last blog entry – and it sounded so compacted full of goodness that I wanted to post it on “top.”<\/p>\n
“Pearls are made thru constant stress on the oyster.”<\/p>\n
He was being a great dad and trying to cheer me up during this great time of stress – but later it occured to me.. “don’t they have to kill the oyster to get the pearl?” …but maybe I’m completely wrong.<\/p>\n
I also thought of a few other pieces of wisdom yesterday.<\/p>\n
Perhaps when considering a mate- imagine yourself stranded on a deserted island with them with no hope for rescue. Will it be an oasis for the both of you – or hell? If you could\/can get along with all the nuances of modern “society” out the window then you’ve got a good thing going. I think a lot of people are probably too distracted to either see the quality of who they are with – or see that they need someone else. <\/p>\n
Lastly – when getting a haircut – always go to the barber that has the worst haircut…after all – if everyone at the shop cuts each others’ hair… the best barber would have the worst haircut!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
