I thought I saw someone I knew last night on facebook – and so I added them as a friend. Facebook doesn’t let you see someone’s profile unless you are already a confirmed friend with them OR you went to the same college (and sometimes even then not). I looked at her profile today and discovered… I don’t know who the hell this girl is. Apparently she went to school with me just like the girl I thought she was…but…she clearly isn’t. Then I remembered the girl I thought she was is named Darbie…not Darcie (this girl’s name). <\/p>\n
Do I remove her from my friends list? Does SHE remember ME even though I don’t remember her…or is she just padding her list of friends?<\/p>\n
Another case of netiquette…. Maybe the netiquette maven can help me out…<\/p>\n
The situation with facebook gets even more complicated when you consider all your old female friends in high school or college are married and have different last names now. <\/p>\n
