Even though this comes from the mouth of the devil it is a very interesting story. It is almost like the Chinese want to reinforce whatever generic idea the rest of the world may already have of them. Denying all the internal cultural differences for a unified “attractive” version. Kind of sad considering China has so much real history and culture reaching so far back – yet they just want to be known now as modern, slick and “cute.”
