oh dear…
Yesterday on a CNN election special the host brought up a map of the US and zoomed in on “small towns in SouthEast Ohio.” He drew a 50 mile circumference circle around what was basically the area I was raised in and said “this area, made up of predominantly middle-class to lower class working people, – mostly white – will determine the next election.”
It was obvious to center in on a “heartland of America” type of place, but there is was – “the election will be decided in YOUR hometown, Andrew!”
BTW—when Gertrude Stein said “there is no there there” she was talking about Oakland.
Old, white, wrinkly, and “normal”
and who defines normal?
Old wrinkly white guys!!
The pundits like to think they know which swing states will decide elections. They love to make statements like that.
Thinking that your classmates might be crucial voters in the presidential election, is it really that frightening?
Why? Do tell.
Obama can’t drive himself to the bottom fast enough so the Clinton Nonsense Network needs to promote the “did I mention he’s black” meme to blame his loss at the Dem. convention on the WHITE WHITE WHITE nuckle-dragging hillbilly racists of “middle america”. Now where did I put that raw deer liver that I usually have for breakfast? I have a hard day of looking for a ****** to lynch-praise the Lord!
