On the way to visit a friend of mine I passed by Pierce College on Winnetka.

Right about the area where that big truck is traffic stopped suddenly (which isn’t unusual).  I heard “scrreeeeeach” and then “kablam!”… I’d been rearended.  I almost made it three years, but LA traffic got to me.  Apprently I didn’t blog about it – but I was rearended on the 118 freeway (100% NOT my fault again) in August of 2006.  Today it sounded like my whole rear end was gone, but when we pulled over I was pleasantly surprised:

It actually looks worse than you can see in the picture (more damage), but it was all superficial. Turns out the big kaboom sound was from the guy that hit the guy that hit me (three-car accident). All their cars were still drivable, so the police dispatcher told me to have everyone exchange information and then report it to our insurance companies.

At this point I’ll probably just put the money (if I get any) in savings….
