twin, texas twister, deer meat
Twin 1997(?)-2003
On July 15th, Twin, the oldest of all the fish, turned belly up. Twin had been bought as a child by Candy Dino and raised by Candy and Celeste. When Celeste took the fish tank to Columbus in 2001, Twin rode along. Twins favorite thing in the world was aggressive eating and annoying the hell out of the other fish. In his later years, Twin started turning purple and shrunk.
I hope B didn’t get caught in that Texas twister the other day. Still waiting to hear from him, although I did hear from him last weekend when he drove around and laughed at the less-than-Bartlett conditions of Little Rock Arkansas.
On the way to Twinsburg Saturday, we hit a deer. Not a live deer, a dead one. I was about five car lengths behind a truck, and had cars beside me and behind me. So when I saw the truck run over the thing (at 65mph) I couldn’t brake or swerve, had no choice but to run right over it. It dented the right side of the guard in about 4 or 5 inches and sprayed deer blood all over the engine fire wall. There were chunks of deer hanging off the bottom of the car that we had to go to a “rediwash” and power wash off. There are still bits and pieces stuck to the bottom of the car, but the only damage appears to have been that front guard.
