On Friday I went with a friend to LACMA to check out the new Japanese print art exhibit.
Outside in front of the “lamps” was a jazz band featuring Peter Erskine from 6pm to 8pm.
A few minutes later another couple tried to recreate this scene with a professional photographer. They weren’t half as genuine.
I wish I was there so we could put my little poison ivy immunity theory to the test…
its possible i may have become immune as well. i have not had it in many years, and i know for a fact i have brushed against it/hiked through it. not too keen on testing it however.
These pictures are great. What kind of camera do you use?
How was the exhibit? Is that the only exhibit there right now?
Thanks. I use a Canon Powershot SD790 IS. It is still technically a point and shoot – but it has a lot of manual extras that the others don’t that lets me experiment.
The Japanese part is only a small part of what is on display at the moment – but we didn’t have time to see anything else before the museum closed.
PS – the last two pictures do have a bit of photoshopping – but not much.
Ha! I pulled some poison ivy vines from our front bank—you just don’t understand what it is to be cool!!!!!!!!!
