It is up for debate who did the better version of “Hurt,” but even though Sting wrote this song (apparently), Johnny Cash’s version is so amazingly better. It is so much better that I actually was stunned to see that Sting wrote it…and I’m still not sure I trust wikipedia on this…

I thought this was in 9/8 or something like that
Sting’s is in 9/8–it completely changes the feeling (for me).
