Well, I can officially announce what has been in the works for some time now. On Wednesday night, at the last showing of the fountains display in front of the Bellagio, with the star spangled banner playing, Byron asked Meg to marry him. So congratulations B and Meg.
I also found out the official date of my cousin John’s wedding. October 30th. Because of the timing, I probably won’t be able to attend the actual wedding. However, they will have a nine hour layover in Los Angeles on the return trip from their honeymoon, so I’ll see them then.
I guess Mr. Machine is moving back to the desert, so no three/four bedroom animal house in the works, at least not yet. I’ll find out next Tuesday if Brian is coming out in August with me or a little later. There is only about six weeks left until mom and I hit the road.
