So I know y’all in Ohio were watching ESPN tonight. Maybe you were in the bathroom/kitchen/etc. when the commercials came on.. .I wasn’t. Remember the Ohio State commercial “I didn’t dot the ‘i’, I didn’t make the extra point, etc.?” Remember the guy in the record shop? Slightly hispanic looking…beard…said something about how he is involved in robotics…. ring a bell?

Well, when I was having critiques for my thesis last year he was one of the grad students in there every time. His work actually inspired my “can robots love robots?” glass paintings.

How ironic… I moved to California to see people on TV walking around in real life…but I end up seeing someone I knew in real life in Ohio…on TV in California.

Also…the game itself is being played in San Antonio so they are showing many MANY shots of the city throughout the game. I was just there four months ago, so it all looks so familiar.
