After Beverly came back from taking her mother to the Emergency Room (the flu) on her (Beverly’s) birthday I took her out to dinner at Chaya.
12 hours later she tumbled down her apartment steps and has an ankle with breakage status still unknown. She has seen doctors and taken MRIs – but we won’t know anything until Tuesday. It isn’t as swollen now as it was earlier in the week – but apparently she is starting to get some residual pain that wasn’t there before. No matter what it is – this pretty much puts the breaks on our hiking adventure in Sedonah next weekend – and any other adventurous outings I had planned before the new year. So, most of my non-work time this week has been spent making sure she has food in her fridge and in her belly.
I guess this will give us a chance to catch up on movies we want to watch.
oh- and I ordered my $5,000 dream PC on Wednesday. ….more on that later! I wanted to have it all set up before my parents arrived on the 22nd – but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen.
