On Friday my illness was still not better – but it was changing shape. It was now very painful for me to eat anything – even water. Around noon we struck out to find a fuse for my microwave – as my father had taken a look and found that the fuse was bad and could be the possible reason it went dead a few months ago. Turns out when we popped the fuse in and turned the microwave on the machine went dead again – so now I really do have to get a new microwave. Earlier in the day my dad examined the annoying fan in my bathroom and determined it was for looks only (I suspected as much) as there was no outlet for the air.

We went over a few more home improvement projects and then headed south to meet with Beverly for dinner at Hop-Li’s. Beverly was going to change and then come up to watch the fireworks with us in woodland hills. I thought I had a parking pass for a structure only two blocks north of the fireworks – but when I tried it it wouldn’t read my card. My parents were already tired (as was I) and street parking was nonexistent so we decided to call it a night.
