We’ve been having very strange weather in the valley lately. The other day it was hailing. Yesterday the wind was blowing so hard it blew apart a power cable on top of the office. Today I woke up to a sight that I hadn’t seen in four previous winters in Los Angeles.
Yes, that is snow on the mountain at the back of the valley. At first I wondered if there was some terrible fire last night and it was all ash. Then I clicked the “ambient temperature” button in the car and say 39 degrees. No wonder I thought it was actually cold yesterday.
Oh, also, now you see the beautiful neighborhood I work in (this is from the parking lot looking North)…..
