a trillion reasons

  1. This just in: Today (3-14) Congress (PBUT) has declared that “the budget” will henseforth be named “The Pi”. Seeing that Pi is a neverending number, this will save a lot of time writing out all those meaningless digits and Democrats will have more time to concentrate on more meaningfull things like calling Rush L. “fatty” and a “big doo-doo head”. When asked about this, Einstein (happy birthday Albert!) replied “I’ve just gotten used to the largest number in the universe being called “The Stimulus !”. Milk and cookies for everyone.

      1. “Support for the stimulus package is dropping from narrow majority support to below that. There is no sense that the stimulus package itself will work quickly, and according to a recent Wall Street Journal/NBC poll, close to 60% said it would make only a marginal difference in the next two to four years. Rasmussen data shows that people now actually oppose Mr. Obama’s budget, 46% to 41%. Three-quarters take this position because it will lead to too much spending. And by 2-to-1, voters reject House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s call for a second stimulus package.”

        1. Wow, what an asshole that Obama guy is… He should take a hint from the Bush administration and listen loud and clear to all the public opinion polls.

He should stop being the most secretive president in history too, and actually tell people why he is doing this – maybe on some sort of weekly video like Bush did.

          oh…wait…

  2. Overspending is overspending regardless of who does it. Of course, we look at the deficit and say to ourselves, “This is terrible.” But how many people took their stimulus checks and sent it back to the government because they thought it was a bad idea?
