What before appeared as waking from a nightmare was simply a dream itself. I’ll elaborate later. Much has happened in the past two weeks – but not as I had hoped it to be.
Right on time too. Having more than platonic love in my life on my birthday is becoming as rare as elephants in Alaska. Even Celeste and I broke up right before March… so did Christel…. and we all know what happened in March of 2006. I should probably propose on the spot to the next girl that will actually be around to kiss me on my birthday.
All may not be lost, but it will be a long road through a dark forest before I see the light of day again. I understand her motives (again, more on that later) and I’ll cooperate with her needs, but it is with incredible heartache on my part (at least at this early stage).
Meanwhile I’m going to take a big step this weekend and turn in my application to grad school. More details on that if and when I get in (a decision will be in my inbox by July 1st).
Always do right–It will gatify a few and astound the rest.
